Six months ago we enrolled out 7 year old son in the “new kids” Zero Gravity Brazilian Jiu Jitsu class run by Andrew and Inger Craven.

We have already noticed a change in his confidence for the better and he really looks forward to training on a Tuesday and Thursday afternoon.

I would put a large part of his enthusiasm down to the way Andrew and Inger have tailored the class to keep the kids fully engaged while keeping the technical content to a level they can follow and improve upon, a fine balancing act for young kids I would suspect.

We look forward to our son growing with the club in the years to come.

Andrew and Inger at Zero Gravity Martial Arts, a quick thank you for the effort and training you are putting into the kids class of which Daniel and Jessica are apart of.

The kids are excited to go each week and love to tell and show us what they learnt each time.

It is great to see discipline and strength increasing as they progress through.

Kids Training at Zero Gravity

In our kids martial arts programme we encourage positive thinking, respectful behaviour on and off the mat.

We teach a combination of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and mixed martial arts which includes grappling, striking and takedown skills to develop well rounded young martial artists.

Our young students experience improved confidence and fitness through the physical and mental challenges they face in training at Zero Gravity Martial Arts.

During our training sessions there is constant encouragement to keep on trying to work through the techniques with a good amount of repetition and new content to keep the children engaged whilst taking ownership of the skills they are learning.

Through the live rolling (free grappling) they have the opportunity to let off some steam while trying to apply grappling techniques on their training partners and have a lot of fun doing it in a safe environment.
